Insoll Avenue and Enderley Avenue were created in 1913, yet there was little development in Enderley until the 1920s. Building carried on long after that, and the Orchard Avenue area was built in 1968 on the site of an old orchard. With homes from so many different periods, roofs in Enderley can vary a lot from one street to the next.
More recently, a housing project rebuilt the old Housing NZ site that was pulled down in 2009, planned as a mix of rental and owned homes. Newer roofs like those rarely need replacing. Their weak points are flashings, penetrations and fixings, which a roof inspection picks up early while they are still cheap to put right.
Then there are the units. About 18.9% of Enderley is zoned Medium Density Residential, and joined homes are a big part of the suburb. Every job here gets the same approach as our roof repairs throughout Hamilton, starting with a free look at the roof and a written quote that tells you what is urgent and what can wait. On shared roofs, each owner sees the same information.
