Maeroa became part of Hamilton City with the second boundary extension in 1925, and its housing has filled in over the many decades since. Streets such as Rimu Street and Carey Street carry roofs of very different ages and materials side by side, which is why we look at the whole roof before pricing any single part of it.
Maeroa's 2023 Census count was 71.8% separate houses and 28.2% joined homes among occupied dwellings. For those units the roof is often shared, so we confirm who owns which section and get agreement in place before anyone climbs a ladder. Average bedrooms sat at 2.7, so many roofs here are modest in area, which keeps the total for a replacement lower than on bigger homes.
Over a third of Maeroa is zoned Medium Density Residential, which allows more joined homes on existing sections. New units arrive with young long-run roofs where flashings and penetrations matter more than wear. Maeroa is looked after by our Hamilton roofing team, and the inspection and written quote cost you nothing.
