Ruakura has a long working history. Waikato Agricultural College and Model Farm was set up here in 1888, and the area had a railway station from 1884 until 1967. Much of the land is still given to research, industry and logistics, and the long-term plan is for Ruakura to become New Zealand's largest integrated commercial and lifestyle development, anchored by a freight and logistics hub.
Homes sit within that mix, and their number is growing. Dwellings in the Ruakura census area rose 8.7% between 2018 and 2023. Newer roofs rarely need replacing. What they need is their flashings, penetrations and fixings checked, and the areas under the eaves that rain does not wash kept clean, so small faults never become leaks.
Owners on Tuumata Crescent, Waikai Close and nearby streets are covered by the free inspection and written quote that apply to all our Hamilton roof repairs and re-roofs. If an inspection shows nothing needs doing, we tell you that and leave it there. If it shows a problem, you get a plain explanation of the fault and a clear written price to fix it.
